With the Wishlist Wallet you have the ability to send rewards in many different currencies if you have employees living internationally. Because of the continuous fluctuation of exchange rates, there are two different ways you can configure your international rewards. It's important to figure out the best way to set this up for you and your team. The two options are:
Client can send gifts to international users in USD, which will not incur any additional fees. Employees will still have access to products in their country (as available), but their wallet balance will be managed in USD, and switching to other currencies will be calculated based on real-time currency conversion. That means this is likely to fluctuate from the time the reward is received to the time the reward is redeemed.
- Client can send gifts to international users using their local currency, which will incur a 10% exchange rate fee on reward send. There is also a potential for a % charge on redemption if the currency has fluctuated more than 10% between reward send and reward redemption. The employee's wallet balance will remain stable, meaning if they receive a reward for 50 EUR (for example) they will always see 50 EUR in their wallet until they redeem their reward, rather than seeing more or less than 50 EUR based on real-time exchange rates.
