Upgrades are available on the Wishlist Marketplace so you have more options for ways to spend your reward money and try more experiences!
An “upgrade” occurs when the recipient of a reward voluntarily pays an amount in addition to the original reward/wallet amount. The Wishlist Marketplace displays differently depending on your account. Upgrades may display by an upgrade slider, in the checkout process, or both in a slider and checkout process (depending on which marketplace your company is connected to.) A few reasons why you would pay an additional amount:
You want to level up your experience by applying your reward amount to a product that exceeds your reward/wallet budget.
You want to add more time or people to the experience you selected.
You select a custom experience and start adding a lot of cool extras which tag on some extra cost.
Don’t worry. During the process, you will be able to opt-in or out of upgrade costs at any time before the transaction.
If you do decide to proceed with an upgrade, you may pay using the below options:
Once you complete the upgrade payment, the booking process flows as normal.
If for some reason your experience is refunded, your upgrade amount will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
Important Note: Wishlist Rewards is a US-based company and although “upgrades” (transactions made beyond your wallet balance) will display in the currency you select, transactions will be settled in USD. This means you will see an upgrade displayed on your bank statement in USD. Foreign conversion fees may apply. Inquire with your bank about foreign transaction fees.
